Ethnography Report
This critical thinking activity introduces students to the lived experience of others and helps students identify and acknowledge cultural and societal beliefs and biases. It serves to awaken one’s ethnocentricity and paves the way to insightful changes in beliefs about diverse cultures.
This requires students to read and write an analysis of a selected ethnography (a listing of known, acceptable books is available below, or, if you have one you would like to propose, do so! The books listed are available at most local libraries or at the UCCS Kramer Library).

As part of this assignment, you will prepare a PowerPoint presentation which will be viewed by your classmates. The presentation guidelines are below and the grading criteria is included with grading rubic (file listed below).

The third component of this assignment is participating in the discussions that will be posted in a discussion format.
You will have a discussion tied to your PowerPoint presentation.
You are responsible for monitoring the questions and comments posted to your discussion and responding in a timely manner.
Do not ignore your discussion until the very last minute and then post answers and responses (this would not be considered responding in a timely manner).
